SmartCare Update - Wednesday, January 11

We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are back in the swing of things in the new year. We have new versions of the center app, center web portal, and teacher web portal. These new versions will be available this Wednesday, January 11th.

Center App iOS 1.4.3

New Features:

  • Archiving and unarchiving children.

Bug Fixes:

  • Email address is now mandatory when adding a person and the option to “Grant parent app access” has been checked.
  • People added as pickup people are now displayed on the people screen for children.
  • The correct relationship type is now displayed when selecting the pickup person for a child.
  • The employee screen now shows the correct number of hours worked.
  • A person’s middle name can now be deleted.
  • A room can now be added in the app before a room is added in the portal.
  • A phone number can now be saved on the alerts screen.
  • An issue that caused the app to crash when a child was deleted in the add family screen has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the app to crash while logging in for some users.
  • An error message was added when a clock-in of an employee fails.
  • Treatment plans can now be added.
  • Filtering for enrolled children now works correctly.
  • When a child’s tuition plan is split by percentage, the percentages now display correctly.
  • Updating the center’s profile picture now works correctly.
  • A tuition plan can now be assigned to a child who has a legal guardian that has accounts in two different centers.

  • Filtering for children without billing plans now works correctly.
  • Split tuition plans now calculate correctly.
  • Children’s location now displays correctly in the children screen.
  • An error message related to attendance has been clarified.
  • A separate account is no longer created for a secondary account owner.
  • The option for “unknown” was removed from the gender dropdown.

Teacher Web 1.8.0

New Features:

  • Added a section to display all the teachers in the room.
  • Made it possible to add and remove teachers.
  • Changes to the child list:
    • The list will default to show children that have the selected class assigned as their default class.
    • The list is sorted by children signed-in to the class, then first name. Children not signed-in will be listed by first name after the children that are signed-in.
    • Children will be immediately signed-in to the class when signed-in to the center.
    • If a child is not signed-in to the center, the teacher can sign the child in and indicate who dropped the child off.
    • An icon will display if it is a child’s birthday.
    • Anicon will display if the child has any allergies. The teacher can click the icon to see more details.

Bug Fixes:

  • The time shown in notifications is now correct.
