Quickly add a Payment Method to your SmartCare Parent App

To make a payment using SmartCare, you must first set up your payment information in the app or in the parent portal on the SmartCare website.

To save a payment method in the SmartCare parent app, tap the three lines in the top left corner. This will bring up your main menu, and allow you to tap on “Billing”. 

Here you can add either a credit card or debit card as well as a checking account number. Tap “Add Payment Method” at the top to begin. Next, tap either “Add Credit Card” or “Add ACH” at the bottom.

To add a credit card: Enter the name on your card, the card number, the CVV number on the back of the card (or on the front with an American Express card) and the expiration date. To save this card as your default method of payment, select “make default” and then click save.

To add a checking account (ACH): Tap “Add payment method” and then select “Add ACH”.  Here you will enter your checking account number and routing number found on the bottom of your check. Routing numbers are always nine numbers and account numbers may vary in length depending on your bank. To save this as your default method of payment, select “make default” and then click save.

Setting up auto pay:

To quickly set up auto pay, first make sure you have saved at least one payment method in the app. Once you have set up your payment method, tap on the three lines in the top left to bring up the main menu.

Tap “My Account” and then tap the icon on the bottom left, it looks like a stopwatch with a dollar sign. Then, tap the circle next to where it says “Enable auto pay”. Tap the circle next to the payment method you would like to use as your auto pay payment method. Then tap save.  It’s that simple.
